Caleb, you were a circus monkey for Halloween this year.  we took you to a few of the neighbor's houses to trick-or-treat and then you helped us pass out candy to the trick-or-treaters.  you really enjoyed clanging your cymbals and everyone thought you were a riot.

i was feeling like a chocolate bar today apparently.    sorry for my lack of accessories too, kinda of a quick, get dressed kinda morning.  however, i am in lurve with my new shoes.  i have been searching for a cheapo pair of these and i found them at payless, i just bought some laces and wam bam!  if you look really hard for 10 seconds you'll be able to see them in the picture, not really, i hope you didn't try that, and my feeble attempt at imparting some humor sucks.

we have been sick off and on and just have no energy for anything, sorry for the silence on here.  Hope to be up soon with some new stuff.

dear caleb

i have to tell you the funny thing that you did last night.  you are a squirmy wormy when i'm trying to get a diaper back on you.

well my dear, you had a dirty diaper that needed to be changed, so i did that, but instead of me getting your diaper back on, you had other plans to get up and "run" away.  i relented, and i let you wander around for a bit to let you get some air.  when i came back from throwing away your diaper, i noticed that you had poopies on your hiney, so i thought that you didn't finish going.  quickly i grabbed more wipes trying to wipe it up with you trying your best to get away, i turn my head and notice the big pile of poop you left for me on the carpet!!  i'm yelling for dada to come help me and i'm laughing at the same time because what else was i to do.

that's the last time that i let you wander around diaperless buddy.

hodge podge

here is a recap of our weekend at the fall fest and our fave local hang out.

i may not have the best camera, or the best looks, but i have the BEST time putting together outfits and posing for my fashion blog  features.  i like to use what i have in my closet and mix it up all the time to create new looks.  i've worn this dress here, even though i have the same belt on, but i love to remix this dress a lot, i swear.

i may not have the best sense of style or a lot of money to shop with, however i have my own style and i get so inspired by others' fashion.  i hope you like something that i have worn and got inspired to look into your closet yourself.

for caleb

you got your first pair of shoes on saturday.  we went to stride rite and we chose this very comfy and adorable brown pair in a size 5.5 wide.  we were looking for shoes for quite some time in every store we went to, but nothing would fit your feet.  finally we went to a specialty shoe store and you loved them right away, even though you walked like a penguin for a while getting used to them.

then we went to pottery barn kids and you just adored this mini chair and oven.  it was a fun place to play and hang out.  you are growing up so fast right before my eyes.  you love to walk so much that when i try to pick you up, you get upset.  maybe dada can build you an oven like that...
